sense of ldn

after realising that most of the candles we were burning were full of toxins that we were breathing in, we started to look into alternatives. and in turn, ended up deciding to make our own. we wanted to create a product that had an identity, and was hand crafted with inspiration - and what is more inspiring than the greatest city in the world?

we hand pour all of our candles, all made with 100% soy wax, fragrance oils that are never (ever) tested on animals, and an eco wick.

created in London, inspired by London

each candle is inspired by a different area of London that we love. whether it's the concrete jungle of shoreditch or the glamour of knightsbridge, we are inspired by the greatest city in the world and have hand poured that into every one of our candles

make it make sense

why soy wax?

we chose to hand make our candles with 100% soy wax because it just makes sense.

soy wax is a vegetable wax made from soybeans, that means that unlike paraffin wax, it isn't made from petroleum, coal or oil, and unlike bees wax it isn't made from any animal bi-products, making it vegan as well as renewable and eco-friendly.

sometimes soy wax candles can have a little frosting, this is actually a unique and natural effect of using vegetable waxes, especially soy. the wax is trying to return back to its natural form and as a result it begins to crystallize. it doesn't affect the performance of the candle in any way and also means your wax is 100% natural

what about the jars?

once you've burned your candle down to 5mm, it's time to get a new one. but instead of throwing the jar away, why not reuse it? it can be used for pretty much anything by following these easy steps...

1. fill the jar with boiling water

2. with the water in the jar, just use a spoon (gently) and peel up the wick

3. all of the remaining wax will float to the top of the jar, once it hardens just pop it out - you can even use this as a wax melt!

4. clean clean clean the jar thoroughly

5. pop in your pens or pins or whatever you want

what about the label?

we use recycled Kraft paper for our labels, because again.. it just makes sense

what about the bags?

the bags are yours to do with as you wish, they are 100% cotton and perfect for keeping all of your special little things

...and the boxes?

the boxes we use are Kraft card, make sure you recycle these to be good to the world.

everything we use can (and should) be recycled or kept, there isn't anything that should go in the bin!
